Centro Cycling'Portugal do Arripiado - Chamusca - Percurso 06 Arripiado - Preto
Rede de Percursos de Cycling - Alentejo e Ribatejo
MTB XC Route, beginning and ending at the "Polo B - Ribatejo no Centro Centro de Cycling do Arripiado - Chamusca", located in the village of Arripiado. Route of a very high skill level of the Arripiado Cycling Center - Chamusca, attributed mainly due to its distance (107.9 km), positive accumulated height and the more technical areas that are found in some sections of the route. The main crossing points are the town of Chamusca, where there are several points of interest (main church; viewpoint; municipal garden) and support (cafes; restaurants; accommodation; etc). This route, due to its length, also passes in other locations such as Vale Cavalos, Chouto and Semideiro where it finds several support points. It is also characterized by passing through different types of landscape, from the Ribatejo hills where the cork oak predominates, as well as other forest areas of eucalyptus production and in the area next to the Tagus, where there are several agricultural areas. Another crossing point with great scenic interest is the area next to the Stream of Foz de Alge, where it passes through a Biodiversity station, andthe stream's reservoir, while still on the left bank of the Tagus River, upon arrival in Arripiado.
