The route is mostly along paths, country lanes and roads with little traffic and is compatible with Touring and Gravel bikes, although it has some small uneven surfaces and some stones. In the final part it goes along the Mira River through curves and counter-curves that provide pleasant views over the river. At 23 km (where it joins trail 02 of the Odemira nucleus), there is a passage that after heavy rains may have a lot of mud. It passes through the remote villages of Cova da Zorra, Zambujeira, Castelão and Troviscais.
