Originating from the conversion of the former railway branch, the Reguengos greenway begins in Évora and ends in Reguengos de Monsaraz, passing through Redondo. It unfolds in three rural stages and one urban section, along which the environmental and landscape values of the Central Alentejo region can be observed. The Greenway runs through the plains of cereal fields, emblematic riparian galleries, vineyards, olive groves, and characteristic montado areas. These are landscapes rich in fauna and flora that change with the seasons. Particularly noteworthy are the bridges that cross water lines — restored works of engineering that serve as essential stops for observing and contemplating the surrounding scenery.
