Start at Largo dos Chorões, continue towards Galeria de Santo António, climb the Travessa do Revez steps and continue to the Town Hall towards Peso, passing Mata-Porcas. Here you enter dense vegetation and descent towards the Pisões Ravine, crossing the Seixe River where you can visit Moinho do Poucochinho and a century-old sycamore, classified as a monumental tree.
On the way back, climb up into the mountains along a tarmac road and descent until you come across a large grove of chestnut trees. When you reach Portela das Eiras, follow the signs towards the Nossa Senhora do Desterro Convent. Descent back to the starting point in the Pomar Velho area and finish the route in the village centre.
