MTB XC Route, beginning and ending at the "Polo D - Baixo Alentejo no Centro de Cycling de Ourique", located in Ourique. The most accessible route of the Cycling Center of Ourique, which goes through rural paths in the surroundings of the village of Ourique. The paths are wide, with a good dirt track and without pronounced unevenness. The main crossing point is Aldeia de Palheiros where there are support services such as cafes and public toilets. The landscape is dominated by cork oak and holm oak forests, where the traditional farming of Black Pig still is in pratice. This route coincides with other routes of this Cycling Center, with different distances and degrees of difficulty, allowing you to choose a different route during the activity. The route is developed through the Alentejo landscape along rural paths and can be traveled without great limitations by hybrid or gravel bikes.
