The route starts at the Mexilhoeira Grande railway station and continues along a dirt path next to the railway track.

It continues straight on at the crossroads and passes some houses before affording views over the salt flats and Odiáxere river, to the right.

It descends to the marsh and turns right around its edge. When it arrives at the previous crossroads, it takes the path to the right, which climbs towards the railway station.
