Leaving Sever do Vouga for the west side, the route takes the direction of the mines of Braçal. It continues north along the Mau river, passing the villages of Folharido and Silva Escura. It then leaves the valley of the Mau river and follows through forest roads to Bouças. Then, it descends to the Fílveda waterfall and continues to Dornelas. The N. Sra. da Saúde park, in Gestoso, already belonging to the municipality of Vale de Cambra, is a good point of support. The route then passes in the villages of Chã, Currais and Falcão, always using secondary roads or forest pathways. The arrival at Felgueira, end of the stage, is made by an inhospitable area that is crossed by a long road.
