The route between São Macário and Fraguinha develops along the ridge lines on the south side of the Arada mountain, offering magnificent views of the entire Lafões region and the Deilão valley. It is a stretch with few points of support that runs through the wind farms and forest paths. It is a very exposed area, with low vegetation and where sometimes strong winds are felt. Before reaching Fraguinha you pass by Arada, a little village that gives its name to the mountain, and cross the village of Coelheira.
