The route is mostly along paths, country lanes and roads with little traffic and is compatible with Touring and Gravel bikes. At 11 km it passes the foot of Srª das Neves, a leisure and annual pilgrimage area much appreciated by the locals. The detour to get there is about 600 m through a very difficult climb. It only passes through the village of Monte da Estrada.
