It’s a short day, but it can be extended by walking the Fishermen's Trail towards Arrifana or by continuing southwards, in the direction of the villages of Bordeira and Carrapateira. You pass perfumed valleys and small farmhouses as you get closer to the coast, giving you a hint of the following day’s route.
