We prepared this journey for you with the aim of offering an essentially flat trail. The roads we cross lead us to quite deserted villages, but where the few inhabitants we meet, show us their natural friendliness by inviting us to their homes and telling us stories of ancient times. The accommodation in home-stay tourism allows us to be close to the local history. As we are so close to Spain, we could not resist making some small detours into our neighbouring country. The arrival at Almeida is one of the highlights of this trip, the entrance through the town is done with some excitement.
