Due to fire, the surrounding landscape of the route has been affected but can be used safely. Conditions for use are being restored.

A circular route, suitable for anybody who enjoys the sport. Like route P11, it runs along forest roads and single tracks parallel to the Mondego River. It follows route 11 in reverse as far as the Carvoeira weir pedestrian bridge. It continues along the right banks of the Mondego river before crossing to the left banks on a pedestrian access to the mini hydroelectric power station's weir. There are several points of interest along the way, such as the Caldas de Penacova water factory, Livraria do Mondego, the Penacova fishery and the Penacova municipal campground.
