The MTB Centres, approved by the Portuguese Cycling Union / Portuguese Cycling Federation are areas of leisure sport infrastructure that are free to access and allow one or more MTB disciplines to be enjoyed. Their infrastructure includes permanent reception and support facilities, as well as structured networks of marked routes classified according to their physical and technical difficulty.

There are 4 route levels, Green - Easy, suitable for beginners with or without experience, Blue - Intermediate, suitable for regular riders with some experience, Red - Difficult, for experienced riders in good physical conditions, and Black - Very Difficult, for very experienced riders seeking to challenge themselves to pedal through nature on all possible types of trails.
