Leaving Besteiros, we continue towards the border, going up and down hills covered with rock rose and cork oak forests, with a more marked presence of eucalyptus and pine forests. In the valley of the Ribeira do Soverete stream the quartzite escarpments shelter a small colony of vultures, the griffins. At the end of the route, almost setting foot in Spain, we find the Our Lady of Lapa Shrine (Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Lapa), protected by the escarpment, a grotto with cave paintings hides behind its altar. The route follows in the same way, but in a last descent, we find a magnificent mature hill.
