This route starts by the docks at Alcoutim, crosses the town and heads north. It joins a short pedestrian footpath for around 300 metres, before branching off and joining it again for another 300m, before the routes diverge, never to cross again. Initially running alongside the Guadiana River, sticking to the main road, the route quickly leaves the riverbanks and heads towards Cortes Pereiras. From there, it continues towards Afonso Vicente, and then to Corte Tabelião before Corte Seda appears on the horizon.
After crossing the road, the route continues southwards as far as Torneiro, where it once again crosses a short pedestrian footpath, which is properly signposted. From this point, both routes run in the same direction until arriving at Balurcos.
