Before beginning the descent of Cabeço da Entroza, look out for Lagoa Grande do Fanal, an old volcanic crater which is filled with water after long periods of rain. The longest of all Enduro trails, it starts with a steep section which defines it, both technically and physically demanding, it is a mixture of old trails and purposely built ones. Caution is required when crossing the forest roads and the Levada dos Cedros.
