This centre is the first certified centre in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, and the only one in Portugal, with an Enduro circuit, where the courses are interconnected with signposting so that practitioners can do the circuit in safety.

The centre is located in Fanal, an idyllic place classified as a UNESCO world heritage site, defined by two zones, zone 1, with a green and blue circular course, ideal for beginners, or for those who prefer a more tranquil route, and to contemplate the fauna and flora, as well as the historical and cultural heritage of this area. Zone 2 has a specific Enduro circuit, made up of five different courses, with different levels of difficulty.

These routes are within the forestry area protected by the Natura 2000 network. Therefore those interested must require the necessary authorization/permit, which can be required online at the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests official website.
