A very technical stage, especially when wet. It contains many rockgardens, roots and some jumps with gaps. Tranquada is one of the oldest trails that connected Ribeira da Janela to the high forest areas, and is still more or less in its original form, now adapted for the practice of mountain biking. On the way to Eira da Achada, you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the north coast of Madeira, and see a small section of Caminho Real, the old communication routes that connected the whole island.
