Following a start shared with other routes, this one branches off in Aradas towards Portela de S. Jorge da Beira. From here it starts a descent along a single track towards Meãs, before climbing to tackle the summit of Cebola (the highest point of the circuit, 1124m). Incredible views can be enjoyed from this point before starting an impressive descent towards Ceiroco. Next comes an easy section along a levy known as “Vala” as far as the Fajão Bridge, reached along an old and very technical road. We climb on old roads towards Aldeia do Xisto de Fajão. The route now follows a detour of the Aldeias do Xisto Grand Route, GR 21.1, before turning off to descend towards the Derradeiro Valley and Sanguessuga, where it rejoins the P19 in Cabril to cross the dam walls before finishing.
