There are two optional stages, starting and finishing in Vila do Bispo. The 1st takes you to the village of Raposeira, heading southwards to Zavial beach and its magnificent view. From the beach, the route is demanding. After Hortas do Tabual, you’ll see the church of NS de Guadalupe, known for being Infante D. Henrique’s place of prayer. Riding north, stop at the wind farm and admire a superb 360º view. On your way to Raposeira, the trail shares with EV 1 to Vila do Bispo. The 2nd stage goes towards Sagres and from there to Cabo S. Vicente. Coming back, takes you uphill along the Vicentine Coast.
