We return hug the river/reservoir and come across wonderful lakes and climbs with fabulous viewpoints as rewards. We head towards Foz da Sertã and pass watermills distributed along the banks, the Trízio nautical centre and the Zaboeira river beach. In the middle of the Castelo de Bode reservoir, the river becomes wide and generous. Despite the fact that this is a tough section, there are plenty of beautiful landscapes and opportunities for leisure activities, with swimming pools, water sports and sport fishing. The cool shade provided by high level tree cover offers tranquillity and the chance to rest.
