The sound of lapping waves fades away as you make progress towards Almancil and onwards as far as the town of Loulé. Pass the Mãe Soberana Shrine and continue along the EN 125 towards Boliqueime, always keeping an eye out for road traffic. Descent towards the coast until reaching Albufeira. The next few turns of the pedals take you to Olhos de Água, and the green of the region’s golf courses revitalises you during the return journey.
