Continue towards Odiáxere along the banks of the Arão, and past the Algarve International Motor Racing Circuit, on a fun road that undulates as far as Senhora do Verde, Rasmalho and Porto de Lagos. An 11 km ascent to the Picota summit - the second highest point in the region (774 metres) - begins on the banks of the Odelouca. A technical descent along a narrow road “slides” you into Monchique, before riding around the edge of the Fóia summit on a winding road through the mountains to get to Chilrão. On the final part of the route you visit Aljezur, Carrapateira, Vila do Bispo and Burdens, before rejoining the coastal road for a few pleasant moments on the beaches of Burgau and Luz.
