The magnificent cathedral building can serve as a starting point for a route that gives you a wonderful view of the Algarve coast. Without ever exceeding 360 metres above sea level, the stage is challenging due to constant ups and downs, which begin after the first few flat kilometres with the most demanding ascent: the climb of São Miguel hill. Around 3 km of road in with a very poor surface, and gradients of around 10%, separate us from this large lookout over mountain territory. Roads with good surfaces and little traffic allow us to reach the top of other luxuriously natural strongholds: Barranco do Velho, Alto Fica and Parragil.
