This route, which is longer than others on the network, takes in most of the district's territory as well as neighbouring districts. After passing over the Santo António plateau, where typical mountainous landscapes can be observed, it descends towards the Minde Polje, a unique site in Portugal, listed as a Ramsar Site. From here it sets off towards Serra D’Aire, another of the region’s well known geological units, before descending on trails cut through scrubland as far as Arrifes, from where it follows the water course towards the alluvial valleys of Bugalhos and Vaqueiros before returning through them to the area surrounding the source of the Alviela river, where it ends.
