The route starts at Vieira de Leiria beach, where you can ride along the seafront , decorated in the traditional Portuguese style pavement. Crossing to the far banks of the Lis river, the route reaches the parish of Coimbrão that possesses considerable natural heritage, such as the Ervideira lagoon, the Rei pine grove and its coastal area bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. To the north, the route enters the district of Figueira da Foz, with its rice paddies, salt flats, areas of sand dunes and lagoons; mountains, rivers and the ocean.
