Starting next to the Camping Park of Merujal, this stage crosses the village with the same name and continues on a long descent to the Arouca valley. This descent, along the slope of the northwest side of the Freita mountain, is made by a panoramic rural path of great beauty. Arriving at the foot of the mountain, the villages of Chão de Espinho, Espinho, Adaúfe and Espinheiro are crossed. The trail continues through an agricultural area with some forest spots until Moldes and enters the village of Arouca by the south zone, passing by the industrial pole. The stage ends in the center, next to the leisure park of Arouca.
