After the exit of the urban nucleus of Cinfães begins a steep descent into the valley of the Bestança river that passes in the village of Pias and ends at the bridge of Pias. The route then follows by asphalt until Boassas, then Desamparados and Vale Melhorado. This is the last village before a long stretch more inhospitable and without points of support. Through rural roads and footpaths there is a long climb up the northern slope of the Montemuro mountain. The first mountain village that is reached is Pimeirô and then Vale de Papas. The stage ends in the village of Gralheira, which is reached through footpaths and trails of the wind farm.
