There is a lot of history in this area, where a fun but no less difficult route awaits you. Hidden among successive ascents and descents are plenty of surprises and truly enchanting moments provided by panoramic views over the Beliche and Odeleite reservoirs. Despite being short, both ascents are steep, requiring adequate progress and good physical training. Take advantage of the coolness of the Quebradas area to regain your strength, from where deep lakes and the outlines of neighbouring Spanish villages can be spotted. Almada do Ouro should not be missed, for relaxing with spectacular views over the Guadiana River.
