Having arrived at the northernmost village of the entire Grand Route, the path turns southwards and descends towards Devesa from this Historical Village, where it turns away from the outward route. Continuing along a dirt track, it crosses a bridge over the Marialva stream and heads off towards Rabaçal, climbing to the district of Esporões. After passing through this village, it continues on forest roads, which gradually turn into farm tracks as it approaches Moreira de Rei and its curious granite formations. From here, it joins the “Plateau Guardians” route and continues south towards Castaíde, where it enters the Azedo Valley, which it follows before embarking on its final climb towards the Historical Village of Trancoso.
